Loose Change is an internet film written and directed by Dylan Avery, produced by Korey Rowe with researcher Jason Bermas. The film presents a 9/11 conspiracy theory to set forth the claim that elements within the United States government planned and executed the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City. The film was released through the creators' company, Louder than Words, and received wide attention after Loose Change 2nd Edition was featured on a Binghamton, New York local FOX affiliate, WICZ-TV (FOX 40).[1] It is one of the most watched films on the Internet, with over 10 million viewers in 2006.[2]
The accuracy and fairness of Loose Change has been disputed by Popular Mechanics, media outlets and independent researchers. On September 11, 2006 Dylan Avery and Jason Bermas appeared on "Democracy Now! the War and Peace Report", to debate James Meigs and David Dunbar,[3] two editors of Popular M
echanics and the book Debunking 9/11 Myths.[4] The film has been edited and re-released in a second edition, then recut again removing some of the inaccuracies that were in previous editions. A further "final cut" version was originally planned for release on September 11 2006, but was delayed and i
s now pushed back to February or March 2007.

Thank you Dylan Avery, Korey Rowe, Jason Bermas & all the brave individuals who risked everything to maintained their honesty & dignity for the sake of humanity. You are all honoring those who lost their lives & "we" the American people who have lost our freedom. Sean Hannity represents the Sheepeople of this country & are the reason unethical, murders with enough money to campaign are able to become our leaders. I am a mature wife & mother of 3 sons. I think that the conspiracy theorists need to actually provide their own hypothesis. All I ever see them do is deny the "official" story and to criticize the "official" version of events. However, in the absence of a better explanation, the "official" version is still the best explanation. Criticism just means that it might still need improvement. It does not mean that conspiracy theories are correct by default.

The conspiracy theorists are, I think, just desperate to avoid criticism. They always "thumbs down" any comment that questions their ideas or expresses doubt. They also accuse anyone who shows any sort of skepticism or doubt towards their ideas of being a "shill." I don't think they're interested in open debate. If they think 9/11 was an inside job, then I'd like to see a coherent explanation for the events of 9/11 put forth and allowed to be subject to criticism.

The conspiracy theorists are not interested in subjecting their ideas to criticism, which is why they label anyone who is skeptical of their ideas as a "shill" (or idiot) and why they don't offer their own hypothesis. It's the same reason why they "thumbs down" anyone who questions their point of view: they're not interested in open and rational debate.

Here's a question that no conspiracy theorist has bothered to answer: what happened on 9/11? Can you actually explain the facts? (criticizing the "official" theory and insisting that your criticisms "disprove" that theory doesn't make a conspiracy theory correct by default). I'd like to be able to discuss various theories rationally, but I have yet to see a coherent conspiracy theory.

Conspiracy theorists just insist that the "official" theory must be wrong because some facts don't fit, but ANY theory will be imperfect and can be questioned endlessly (even the laws of physics). Being able to criticize one theory does not make an alternative theory correct by default. Which theory best explains the facts should be assessed through rational debate. So how about the conspiracy theorists offer their theory? Then we can discuss which theory best explains the facts.

If you don't buy the "official" story, then how about offering your own theory. Then, through rational debate we can establish which theory best explains the facts. So far, I have not seen a conspiracy theory which even attempts to explain the events of 9/11.

You've got yourself wrapped up in an enormous delusion if you're at the point where you think that anyone who openly doubts what you're saying is a "shill." I just think that you conspiracy theorists need to put forth a theory so that it can be subjected to open criticism. Instead, you seem to think that being able to criticize one theory makes your beliefs correct by default, but that's just not the case.= I doubt conspiracy theories about 9/11 because I've yet to see one that explains 9/11.

Do you have an alternative hypothesis? If you can't offer a better explanation, then all you've done is point out that the 'official story' is not a perfect theory (and no theory can ever be absolutely proven true). I see some problems with the "official story" but that doesn't mean that I believe the conspiracy theories.

Ya exactly. The 9/11 truth movement doesn't seem to be interested in truth at all, just exposing what's a lie. Not the same thing. I think it's funny how they say EVERYTHING in the official story is bullshit. This makes the movement SEEM, on the surface, to have credibility but when you really think about it, it takes away their credibility. Truth is probably somewhere in between. I personally think it was jihadists, but the govt MAY have known something and let it happen for their own gain.
