@Adanne1 Her mother had custody/was present for only 5 of 18 years of her childhood. If she was such a devoted mother, she would have been there a hell of a lot more. If she had really cared about her, she would have found a way to be with her child. Her mother obviously didn't care about her enough to make sacrifices in her life to be with her child. Now that she's an adult.. and famous... wouldn't it be so convenient to be her mom now? Good for Kellie for shutting her down.

I dislike women like her mother. It isn't even the fact that she left her daughter. It's her lying about why/how she left. My own mother claims she left because she was being abused. But why would she leave me with the man that abused her? My daddy raised me and I have come so far in life because of him. Now I'm 19, attending college she wants to be my mother? I don't think so. However I hope Kellie can forgive her simply because it's too much work to waste energ on disliking people like that.

Unless your in an abusive situation you cannot understand it. It's easy for someone that is not in abusive situation to say "WHY, or how they would of did it better, but, it is not always that easy when you are in that situation.

Sometimes a child has to be left for the abuse to stop other wise
 the abuser will try to keep punishing the victim. How lucky for those that can get out with their children but it is not always the way. I know it can be hard to put your self in someone else situation. She didn't leave the child in a gutter, with no food etc.If you can't forgive you will never
understand or be-able to move on. This all children must know a mother loved you so much she did (what she thought) was BEST for YOU!

Thats sad, everyone deserves to be forgiven, i like what her mom says, she's human, she makes mistakes. Reconciliation is possible, im not gonna judge kelly cuz she's hurtin but it wud do her best if she just forgive and try to let go.

Seriously, what person would leave her child in an abusive situation? What a selfish person. And when her mom was doing the interview, not once did she look remotely sorry. she totally was looking for her 15 minutes in fame. And Kellie obviously wasn't abused. She said so. Her mom is a total LIAR!!
